Since the release of “In My Head,” the ensemble, comprising Jackson Reed, Nathan Litvinchuk on drums, Jeremy Brigham on keyboards, and backing vocalist Deandre Crowe, has experienced an upward trajectory marked by notable collaborations and engagements. Inspiration struck Reed and the Silverbirds as they revisited the iconic “Little Red Corvette” late last year, recognizing its enduring relevance and unparalleled craftsmanship despite its 1982 origins. Driven by their profound admiration for the original composition, the ensemble embarked on a meticulous reinterpretation, seamlessly blending reverence with innovation.

“The inspiration came late last year when I was listening to the original version of the song,” Reed shares. “Despite the fact it came out in 1982, in that moment it dawned on me how fresh the song is. It might be one of the finest pop songs ever written.” Alongside the Silverbirds, Reed’s passion and respect for “Little Red Corvette” permeate their rendition, striking a delicate balance between honoring the raw essence of the original and infusing it with contemporary instrumentation and pristine sonic clarity.
